The Bastion

The oldest structure in Nanaimo, the Bastion was originally constructed by the Hudson's Bay Company in 1852 to protect the fledgling mining outpost.

Fitzwilliam Gate

A landmark feature of Nanaimo's Old City Quarter, Fitzwilliam Gate is a two-storey glass-covered walkway atrium. The building is based on the architectural design of the Burlington Arcade at the end of Saville Row in London, England.
